Reality TV: Art, Entertainment, or CRAP!

Ok Ok Ok...  Why are Reality TV Shows so addictive?  I don't care how foolish the story line may be or how insane the characters are...I just can't pull myself from the television.   Prime example, VH1's  "The Real Chance of Love."  Has anyone ever seen this show?  There are a slew of others I don't care to name...but please give me your thoughts on this genre of entertainment.   Is this what we have to look forward to for years to come?

    I wrote this post prior to viewing "For the Love of Ray J" for the first time. Is he looking for love or "America's Next Top Stripper"? I actually think his show is worse than "Real Chance of Love". At least they had a gimmick!! What is Ray J's story??!!

    You know I thought the same thing MM and CU. When I saw the previews for "For the love of Ray J" I felt like I was watching porn.
