Food for Thought

My hobby is dining. I love fine dining. There is nothing better than good food and a good drink. Well, almost nothing! There are many, many great restaurants in Baltimore City. I have dined more in the city since I relocated closer to downtown Baltimore. Three is a great restaurant located across the street from Patterson Park. Austin Grill is great for those who love tex-mex like myself. You have got to try their strawberry limeade. Cake Love is great if you love desserts. Brighton's at Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel has Afternoon Tea on Fridays and Saturdays. My list goes on and on. What is your favorite place to dine? What do you recommend? Or, Ask me what places do I recommend.

    I love fine dining too. Unfortunately I'm not ambitious enough to try new restaurants. I usually dine at chains and I know that really limits my fine dining exposure. I will however try a restaurant on someone’s recommendation.

    Also, I have an online subscription to Open Table.com which is great for fine dining enthusiatist. From this site I found out that the surrounding Maryland counties and DC have restauruant weeks similar to what we have in Baltimore. For example, Howard County's restaurant week was immediatley following the one we had here in Baltimore. The also give diners an opportunity to rate their dining experiences and you can make reservations through the site.
